The Naper Nights  Concert Series will return to the storied grounds of Naper Settlement this June. The Naperville Heritage Society is proud to announce that Sikich is returning as the presenting sponsor

Naper-Nights_web“We are so honored to work with Naper Settlement again this year in sponsoring Naper Nights, one of the most exciting summer events in this community,” said Jim Sikich, CEO and managing partner of Sikich. “Our firm is growing at an extraordinary rate, and we owe so much of that to the Naperville and surrounding communities. Sponsoring Naper Nights is just one way that we continue demonstrating our commitment and appreciation to our surroundings.”

This year’s concert series features, “The History of Rock,” with music from rock’s Beatle beginnings to iconic musicians like Bruce Springsteen and Dave Matthews, all performed by the area’s premier tribute bands.

“We appreciate Sikich as a corporate community leader and partner dedicated to Naper Settlement’s education mission,” said Mike Krol, chairman of the board of the Naperville Heritage Society. “As our Naper Nights presenting sponsor for the second year, we thank Sikich for their support in bringing the history of rock to life on a local stage that families in Naperville can enjoy over three weekends this summer.”

Naper Nights is being held June 21-22, July 26-27 and August 23-24.

American English starts off the concert series on Friday, June 21, with opening act, Ska To Catch ’Em All, a fun-filled romp of happy ska music complete with a brass section. ARRA, a classic rock cover band, will play the music of Journey, Styx, Boston, REO Speedwagon and other monster hits of the 1970s through the 1990s on Saturday, July 27. Opening act is Tumbling Dice, hailed as the finest musical tribute in America to the greatest rock ’n’ roll band in the world — the Rolling Stones.

The legendary Bruce Springsteen will come to life through Michael McDermott and The Duke Street Kings on Friday, Aug. 23. McDermott previously performed at Naper Settlement in 2008. Trippin Billies, said to be the closest act vocally to the Dave Matthews Band, will perform on Saturday, Aug. 24.
