The Exchange Club of Naperville’s One Nation Under God recognition lunch will be held at 11:45AM on Fri., March 15, at Hugo’s Frog Pond, 55 S. Main St., in the Main Street Promenade in downtown Naperville. This annual event is hosted by the Americanism Committee.
The One Nation Under God lunch is a time when local individuals will be recognized for properly displaying, with respect, the American Flag. Americanism is widely considered “The Heart of Exchange” because Exchange champions American ideals, and Exchange Clubs exist only on American soil. Exchange prides itself on its knowledge of American traditions, none less important than honoring the sacred American symbol – the flag.
The following individuals will be recognized for properly displaying the American Flag — William Butusov, Kevin Dolan, Eric Jungnickel, Dave Kelsch, Dave and Ann Mead and Bettye Wehrli.
This event is open to the public and everyone is welcome to attend and honor these outstanding individuals.
RSVP by calling (630) 779-2702 by March 8. The cost is $20 per person. Payment may be made at the event with cash or a check.
Also, remember that until April 15, 2013, you can join Exchange and not be billed for 90 days through our “Stand Up America” program. The Exchange Club meets on the first and third Fridays at Hugo’s Frog Pond. Come join us for lunch and learn more about Exchange and how it contributes to the Naperville community.
