Things are happening quickly at Dog Patch. We were just featured in Pet Business Magazine for our rescue efforts.
I have been invited to speak at a major pet industry trade show about our conversion to rescue animals as a “how to” for other stores.
What’s more, Riverwoods Elementary School is helping us out by collecting pennies to help us pay for the rescue animal’s vet needs.
A local Daisy Girl Scout Troop has worked hard and donated a big $150 check to our rescue partner “A Place to Bark.” They were also very kind and made blankets for our resident rescues waiting for their new homes.
We are working on more ways to help our rescue partner as well as increase the numbers of animals that we can bring in and adopt. Watch for updates as we proceed.
