The Naperville Area Homeowners Confederation will take an in depth look at the issues behind the Referendum Question on whether or not part of the Naperville City Council should be elected on a district, rather than completely at-large, basis on Tuesday, February 12 at 7PM in the City Council Chambers of the Naperville Municipal Center, 400 S. Eagle St., Naperville.
The Confederation has invited representatives from the Naperville Voter Education League (NVEL) and Yes At Large to discuss the ballot question and the pros and cons of each point of view. They will look at the referendum question, the proposed districts, and discuss the implementation steps involved in moving to the district system approved by the voters in 2010 and slated for implementation in 2015. With a fair and simple format, Confederation Forums provide an opportunity for voters to obtain the information needed to make an informed decision at the polls.
