Do you have O Negative blood? If you’re in good health right now, your blood donation could help patients receiving treatment in local hospitals. Quite frankly, all types of blood are always needed, so all eligible individuals are encouraged to donate regularly as a New Year’s resolution.
According to a news release from Heartland Blood Centers, the recent outbreak of the flu and cold season has affected blood inventories more than usual. Heartland Blood Centers is reporting an urgent need for O Negative blood donors to rebuild blood inventories that have plummeted in the last two weeks.
All healthy individuals eligible to donate blood are asked to make an appointment.
