The City of Naperville’s Advisory Cultural Commission will host a public workshop at 9AM Sat., Jan. 26. During the workshop, the commission will determine its initial award recommendations for the 2013-2014 Special Events and Cultural Amenities (SECA) fund grant. The meeting will be held in City Council Chambers of the Municipal Center, 400 S. Eagle St. As with all City workshops, no public testimony will be accepted.
Special Events and Cultural Amenities (SECA) fund applicants will have an opportunity to speak before the commission regarding their applications during a public hearing at 9AM Sat., Feb. 9. The meeting will also be held in City Council Chambers. Following public testimony, the commission will determine a final unified recommendation for each application. The commission recommendation will be forwarded to the City Council for consideration at its annual SECA fund workshop in March. The City Council will formally approve all 2013-2014 SECA fund allocations at a regular City Council meeting in April.
