The City of Naperville reminds residents and interested parties that the next Naperville City Council meeting will take place on Tuesday, December 18 at 7PM in Council Chambers of the Naperville Municipal Center, 400 S. Eagle St. Residents can view the latest City Council agenda and corresponding information in PDF format at www.naperville.il.us/emplibrary/Boards_and_Commissions/cc20121218p.pdf.
The City Council will also host a workshop at 6PM on Tuesday, December 18 prior to its Council meeting. Council members will discuss Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)/Social Services Grant allocation at this workshop. Each regular City Council meeting features a public forum session for questions or comments from the public on items not on the formal agenda. The forum is limited to 30 minutes and individual speakers are limited to three minutes. Persons who would like to address the City Council during the public forum must sign up at the City Clerk’s office before 7 p.m. on the day of the meeting and provide their name, address and topic of discussion. A list of public speaking guidelines, along with more information about citizen participation at the City Council meetings, is available at www.naperville.il.us/council.aspx.
Any individual with a disability requesting a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in a public meeting should contact the Accessibility Coordinator at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled meeting.
