Pet Advice — Happy holidays

-

We’ve got plenty of exciting news at Dog Patch. I’m working with an organization called “A Place To Bark.” Our relationship will result in many puppies and young rescue dogs being available at Dog Patch. It’s a long and exciting story that is still in the beginning stages.

We are absolutely thrilled that we are going to be able to help save so, so many lives. We continue to explore every avenue to let folks know what we are up to.

Our website www.dogpatchpets.com has been refreshed to help people find more information about rescue and in specific the rescues with which we work. There are links and pictures. Every animal available for adoption is posted so you can shop before you come in to meet the dog or cat of your dreams. We update many times a day so it is always current. Our website also features tons of video links including many of our classic TV commercials from the past for you to enjoy.

We are also very active on Facebook. Look for us at Dog Patch Pet and Feed.

Please think twice before giving a living animal as a gift. If it’s mom and dad purchasing a cat or dog or bird or fish for the family, that’s one thing. But overall pets make poor gifts. We always encourage

“GIFT CARDS NOT GIFT PETS!”

From all of us at Dog Patch, have a Happy Holiday and a safe and warm New Year.
