SugarToad will help revelers ring in 2012 with a special three-course menu for New Years Eve 6-11PM, Mon., Dec. 31.
Guests will start off their evening with choices of amuse bouche demi bisque of lobster with cheddar-rye twists and caraway oil; foie gras terrine with cocoa nib, black salt, champagne-clementine jelly and toasted brioche; Maine lobster risotto with baby vegetables and rue scented buerre monte; or charred little gem romaine-heirloom squash salad with warm marinated winter vegetables and goat cheese foam.
Following will be choices of organic Scottish salmon confit with “tagine” vegetable couscous and warm preserved meyer lemon vinaigrette; bone-in prime filet of beef with pan-roasted in organic alfalfa, chanterelles mushroom ragoût, potatoes Robuchon pinot noir-beef marrow reduction; or pan-roasted quail with porcini-truffle ravioli, black truffle cream and lemongrass verjus.
The night wraps up with a choice of two desserts: warm French brown sugar butter cake with local pear and salted caramel ice cream or flourless chocolate torte with bittersweet chocolate ganache and grapefruit anglaise.
