Four Rotary Clubs played golf to benefit Operation Support Our Troops America

-

During the Rotary Club of Naperville weekly meeting on Nov. 29,  Deb Rickert, President and Founder of Operations Support Our Troops – America, received a check for $14,126.  The gift represented proceeds from the 2012 Rotary Golf Outing held last August.

In recent year, every summer the four Rotary Clubs of Naperville have hosted their member-guest golf outing at Springbrook Golf Course, followed by dinner at Meson Sabika. The golf event was started approximately 20 years ago when there were two Rotary clubs in Naperville. Today approximately 300 Rotarians comprise four clubs.

In addition to registration fees, raffles and games of chance at holes throughout the Springbrook Golf Course help raise funds for a different charitable cause every year.

“OSOT- America was very appreciative!” said Rotarian Fred McEwen, as he extended thanks to all who  participated in the golf outing in his news release.
