Meson Sabika hosts day to support Hurricane Sandy relief efforts / 11:30AM–10PM / Mesón Sabika restaurant will partner with the American Red Cross to raise funds for the relief efforts on the Atlantic Coast in wake of the devastating hurricane and subsequent flooding. 100% of the revenue generated on Tuesday, November 13 at Meson Sabika for Lunch and Dinner will be donated in an effort to help those devastated and displaced by Hurricane Sandy. Meson Sabika’s sister restaurant, Tapas Valencia in Chicago, will also donate 100% of revenue generated on November 13. City Council Workshop will address Electric Rates / 5–7:30PM / The Naperville City Council will hold a City Council workshop in Council Chambers of the Naperville Municipal Center, 400 S. Eagle St. City Council members will discuss Electric Rates at this workshop. West Suburban Irish Quiz Night at Quigley’s Pub / 7PM / The West Suburban Irish Quiz Night will be one week later in November due to the election. Quiz play at Quigley’s Irish Pub, located at 43 E. Jefferson in downtown Naperville, will begin at 7PM Tuesday, November 13. Test your knowledge and win prizes in the team oriented quiz game. Prizes are supplied by the West Suburban Irish, Quigley’s, and Sam Adams Beer and awarded to First Place, Second Place & Third Place Teams, and the winners of each round of questions. No electronic devices may be used during quiz play.

‘Understanding the Teenage Brain’ / 7–8:30PM / Learn what parents should know about how to help their children avoid the consequences of risky behavior and the signs of adolescent psychiatric illnesses. Join physician presenters Drs. Mensah and Bowman, specializing in biochemical imbalances and metabolic treatment approaches, and learn about emerging treatments, prevention, clinical outcomes and studies that ensure better futures for individuals of all ages with developmental, behavioral/learning and mental health issues. NCHS Spirits Color Guard – Little Spirits Clinic and Performance / NCHS Spirits Color Guard team will be offering their Little Spirits Clinics and Performance. Clinic and Performance Dates are: Thursday, November 15, 2012 @ 6pm to 7:30PM and Friday, November 16, 2012 @ 5:15PM to 6:35* Performance time (*approx. time). On both clinic dates, the girls will learn a routine they will perform at the Naperville Central Tip Off Basketball Tournament’s half time show. The fee for clinic and performance is $35 and includes a Little Spirits performance t-shirt, a special gift and a wonderful team building experience. 6th Annual Ladies Night to benefit Loaves & Fishes / 5–8PM / Women are welcome to a brief respite and a chance to enjoy a relaxing evening with their friends during It’s Still All about Me Ladies Night. This year, this popular girls’ night out also will benefit Loaves and Fishes Community Pantry through a series of gift drawings and a silent auction. Guests will enjoy delicious appetizers, refreshing drinks, holiday shopping, and special discounts. Festive fashions will be modeled throughout the evening. Admission is free.
