Irish Dance Open House / Farrelly School of Irish Dance will be having an Open House on Tues., October 23 4:30-5:30PM at Airtastic, 850 Frontenac Rd., Aurora and Thursday, October 25th 6-7PM at Von Heidecke Ballet Studio, 1239 Naper Blvd., Naperville.  Great opportunity to see what Irish dancing is all about! High Ground, the movie, at the Judd Kendall VFW / 7PM / See a screening of High Ground, a documentary about eleven wounded warriors and one Gold Star mother who climb a mountain in the Himalayas. Screening begins at 7PM at the Judd Kendall VFW located at 908 W. Jackson in Naperville. Hosted by Operation Support Our Troops America Admission is FREE. Naperville Garden Club Monthly Meeting / 8:45-11:30AM / The Naperville Garden Club hosts its monthly meeting on Wed., October 24, 2012 at the White Eagle Golf Club. Refreshments are served beginning at 8:45AM. A business meeting begins at 9:15AM. This month’s program “Having Success with Bulbs” presented by Joannie Rocchi. The Naperville Garden Club is a community service oriented group of women that hosts the annual Cup of Cheer House Walk, Holiday Market and Tea and invites you to join them. Meeting cost is $13. Ss. Peter & Paul School Hosts Volleyball Event to Support WDSRA / 5:30-7:30PM /Competition will be friendly (but fierce!) during the traditional 8th grade boys vs. girls volleyball games at Ss. Peter and Paul School in Naperville. For the sixth year in a row, the school will team up with Western DuPage Special Recreation Association (WDSRA) to have some fun, educate students and their families about disabilities, and raise funds to support the work of WDSRA. / Ss. 2013 Regional Economic Forecast at Hotel Arista / 7-9AM / The Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce and Calamos Investments will co-host the 2013 Regional Economic Forecast, a breakfast program, at the Hotel Arista, 2139 CityGate Lane.  This annual event features a panel of industry experts who will share their insights and analysis of market conditions for the coming year. Co-host John P. Calamos, CEO and chief investment officer of Calamos Investments, again will serve as a panel participant. The program is sponsored by Calamos Investments and Navistar.
