As part of downtown Naperville’s Hometown Holidays, the Main Street Promenade and numerous retailers again are sponsoring a “delightful and delicious” preview of holiday fashions. The Main Street Promenade Fashion Show and Brunch will be held from 9:30-11:30AM Sat., Nov. 10, at Hugo’s Frog Bar and Fish House.
The fashion show is the Main Street Promenade’s special way of celebrating downtown Naperville’s Open House and Holiday Preview Weekend.
“We’re looking forward to another magical morning of fashion, friendship and food,” said Ruth Yackley, a lead organizer of the event. “The holiday fashion show and brunch was a real hit last year. Guests enjoyed being with their friends and seeing the newest holiday and winter styles. Many of the guests had fun talking with the models and asking them questions about the clothing and accessories. This year’s event will build on last year’s success, and we invite shoppers to join us.”
Hosted by Scott Mackay, the morning radio host at 95.9 The River, the fashion show will include drawings for special prizes and gift cards throughout the morning from the shops of the Main Street Promenade.
Seating is limited. The cost is $15 per person, plus tax and gratuity, payable at the event. Reservations can be made by calling Hugo’s at (630) 548-3764.
In addition to the fashion show and brunch, the Main Street Promenade will be celebrating the holidays with a snowman-themed tree in its archway and by sponsoring the Holly Trolley for several hours during the festive season. Cold shoppers will also be able to warm up at the Main Street Promenade with hot chocolate and other goodies during the Snowman Fest from 4-8PM on Fri., Nov. 23, and during the Little Friends Parade of Lights that begins at 4:30PM on Sat., Dec. 1. The hot chocolate treat is cosponsored with Naperville Dental Specialists and General Oral Health Care and Innovative Orthodontic Centers.
The Main Street Promenade and Hugo’s Frog Bar are located at 55 S. Main Street in downtown Naperville.
