Simply put, Exchange Club of Naperville President Jen Odin has announced the Ribfest 2015 Chairman. Exchangite Bob Pschirrer has been selected by the Exchange Club Board of Directors to lead the annual rib and concert festival held at Knoch Park.
This past year, Pschirrer served as Finance Chair for Ribfest 2012.
In the meantime, Pschirrer will shadow Ribfest 2013 Chair Marty Walker and Ribfest 2014 Chair Dan Deboo, continuing his work with the Finance Committee this year.
Planning every Ribfest is a year-long process by members of the Exchange Club of Naperville, a national service club chartered in Naperville in 1987.
Every year for 25 Ribfests, the festival has grown and today more than 2,000 volunteers are attracted to help at the club’s major fundraiser that has raised more than $12 million for the local community since 1988.
The Exchange Club is dedicated to the elimination of child abuse and domestic violence. Thanks to Ribfest, generous financial contributions are granted to more than 40 local charities early every year.
