Naperville Independent Film Festival founders Edmond Coisson and Glessna Coisson, pictured here at Wednesday evening’s short film screenings at Ogden 6 Theaters, invite the public to meet Alex Hyde White after the premiere  of “Three Days of Hamlet.”

At 7PM tonight, Sept. 20, the couple returns to the Ogden 6 Theater for the sixth day of  the Naperville Independent Film Festival  for the premiere of “Three Days of Hamlet”, a PG documentary feature, produced by Alex Hyde White.

After the movie, at 8:45PM, the audience and other interested individuals are  invited to Country Inn & Suites, located at 1837 Centre Pointe Circle (off Diehl Road, across from Northern Il. Univ. campus) for a Q&A session with Alex Hyde White.

Pizza, beverages and dessert will be served.

Everyone who attends  this premiere and all involved with NIFF are invited to come to this fun and enlightening evening. The Country Inn & Suites reception is complimentary to all.

Wednesday evening, Glessna Coisson and her team of volunteers wanted the public to know that while some of the short films can be extremely  thought-provoking about serious subjects, organizers of the film festival have been having fun for five years.

“It’s been like putting on a wedding every night,” Glessna Coisson said, considering all the creativity and attention to detail.

Going forward with NIFF, Friday & Saturday

At 7PM Fri., Sept. 21, at the Hollywood Palms Theater, actor Michael Madsen, will be in attendance at the NIFF Premiere of his movie “Vice,” which will be followed by a Q&A session.

In total, 76 films and five screenplays officially were selected to be part of this year’s NIFF. From these choices, 48 entries were selected as contenders for awards.

The winners of this year’s Film Festival will be announced at the Red Carpet Closing Night Ceremony at the Hollywood Palms Cinema on Sept. 22.  This fun, entertaining event, open to everyone, will begin at 5:30PM.

Tickets to closing ceremonies and all films can be purchased at the door or online at NIFF’s website.
