Tim Gunn, star of T.V.’s Project Runway, is coming to Anderson’s Bookshop 

7PM / Anderson’s Bookshop will host a special event with Project Runway’s own Tim Gunn beginning at 7PM, Fri., Sept. 14.  The pop culture icon is best known as co-host of the 12-time Emmy-nominated reality show Project Runway, but also hosted two seasons of his own Bravo makeover series, Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style.  Gunn is headed to meet with readers and fans at Anderson’s Bookshop, 123 W. An Evening with Jazz Guitarist John McLean at North Central College

8PM / “An Evening with Jazz Guitarist John McLean” will showcase the talents of a member of College’s internationally acclaimed jazz faculty at 8PM in the Madden Theatre, 171 E. Naperville Art League presents Riverwalk Fine Art Fair

Saturday & Sunday / 10AM – 5PM / Two-day Annual Riverwalk Fine Art Fair is set along Jackson Avenue and the Riverwalk from Eagle Street to Main Street. Music ensembles augment the show in the Riverwalk Amphitheater throughout the days. Admission is free.

Class Act II Big Band Concert at Fredenhagen Park

4:30 – 6PM / In addition to the Riverwalk Fine Art Fair, arts lovers also can enjoy a special Class Act II Big Band Concert at Fredenhagen Park, located along the Riverwalk at the Washington Street Bridge. Admission is free. The performance is hosted by the Riverwalk Foundation.

Live Music at CityGate Grille: Dave Byron

8:30 – 11:30PM / Dave Byron will perform classical jazz, flamenco, and Latin and Spanish guitar inspired music. Chicago Victory Gardens: Yesterday and Tomorrow at Naper Settlement

3 – 4PM / Award-winning master gardener LaManda Joy will give a presentation. Chicago led the nation in urban food production during World War II and how the city is poised again with the homegrown food revolution of this new generation. Joy is the author of the popular urban gardening blog, “The Yarden,” and is the founder of the Peterson Garden Project in Chicago. Naper Settlement’s Victory Garden and rain gardens also will be featured.
