Road closure on Benton Ave. begins Monday

Beginning Mon., August 27, Benton Ave. in downtown Naperville is expected to be closed to through traffic between Washington and Main streets for approximately three days for utility work occurring in the area.

The sidewalk along Benton Ave. will also be closed intermittently as part of the project. Motorists and pedestrians are encouraged to follow detours that will be posted in the area and local traffic may use Benton Avenue via Main St. to access the Van Buren Parking Deck and Naperville Bank and Trust.

Both the road and sidewalk are expected to reopen by Thur., August 30, pending weather and unffororeseen circumstances.
