Naperville Independent Film Festival seeks volunteers to help distribute posters

-

NIFF 2012 seeks volunteers to help  distribute this year’s posters that will  advertise the Naperville Independent Film Festival. The 8-day festival, now in its fifth year,  is slated Sept. 15-22 at various theater venues throughout Naperville.

“If you were unable to stop by the Parking Garage on Aug. 24 to pick up NIFF posters, Edmond Coisson will be at the Ogden 6 Theatre at 2PM on Sun., Aug. 26, to hand out posters to all those who want to help distribute them to businesses throughout Naperville and/or the surrounding Chicago area,” said publicist Mary Ellen Fieseler on Saturday.

Organizers welcome volunteers to pick up as many as needed, with a request to let NIFF know which businesses or areas you plan to blanket with advertising posters.

“We also have 5 x 7 postcards, with the NIFF logo on them, which can be handed out to specific groups whom you know may be interested in attending this year’s Film Festival,” Fieseler added.

“We will be distributing posters throughout the downtown Naperville area,” said Fieseler.  “The more people helping, the quicker and broader area we can cover.”

Fieseler went on to add that anyone who wants to volunteer but cannot make it at all on Sunday is asked to call Edmond Coisson at (630) 709-5264, Glessna Coisson at (630) 703-3219 or Mary Ellen Fieseler at (630) 881-4626 to arrange a time and place to meet to pick up posters.

Any merchant who would like to post a poster in a store window or business interior is asked to call any of the NIFF members listed above, too.

The poster advertising distribution for the NIFF is an important feature of the week-long event in order to promote the schedule and website in Naperville and throughout  the Chicago area.  All volunteers are greatly appreciated.

On another note:  The Naperville Independent Film Festival 2012 is happy to support Bob Lockwood, the Creative Producer of Full Armour Studios and Member in Festival Leadership, in his “Boot Camp for Photographers” class, Sept. 8-Oct. 13. Meanwhile, look for magnetic promotional signs on various vehicles around town.
