Kim Neidermyer, Mary Golden and Kent Palmer have been hired to fill three management vacancies at the Naperville Public Library. Neidermyer is the new Marketing Manager, Mary Golden is the new ILS System Administrator, and Kent Palmer is the new Business Librarian at the Nichols Library.
As Marketing Services Manager, Neidermyer coordinates the library’s marketing, design and programming activities. Prior to coming to Naperville, Neidermyer was the marketing coordinator at the Joliet Public Library. She earned a Master’s Degree in Communications from Governors State University.
As ILS System Administrator, Golden is responsible for the library’s automation system that maintains the catalog and all circulation functions. Prior to her Naperville appointment, Golden was Technology Librarian at the Joliet Public Library. She earned her Master of Information Science degree from Wayne State University.
As Business Librarian, Palmer assists business owners, managers, jobseekers and the general public to use library resources to help manage finances, select investments, research companies, conduct market research, start a business, and further career pursuits. Palmer held various ownership and management positions in the insurance and financial services industries before coming to Naperville. He completed his Master of Science degree in Library and Information Science at the University of Illinois.
