Scott’s Walk 2012 steps off in DuPage River Park, Sept. 23

-

The 4th annual Scott’s Walk returns for 2012 in a new month and at a new location.

This year’s family-friendly fundraiser in memory of Scott Zager will be held on Sun., Sept. 23, in DuPage River Park, to benefit all childhood cancers via St. Baldrick’s Foundation and raising awareness for young men to self-examine to help prevent testicular cancer.

Fellowship, fun and registration begin at 8AM for the walk that steps into motion at 9AM.

The cost is $25/person or $45 for a family (parents and minor children).

Pre-registration includes a commemorative t-shirt with this year’s new logo.

The super hero penguin is back! Only the popular mascot has changed his attire—this year he’ll appear for the luck of the Irish in St. Patrick’s green with shamrocks.

DuPage River Park is located at 2807 S. Washington St.
