DuPage Children’s Museum’s (DCM) Board of Directors announced the election of a new community leader to their Board. The Museum and its Board are happy to welcome its newest member, Mark O’Hara.
Mr. O’Hara, of Glenview, is the president and COO of Anderson Pest Solutions, and has been with the company for nearly 20 years. Anderson Pest Solutions is the largest family-owned pest solutions company in the Midwest . The company has partnered with DuPage Children’s Museum for the past three years to bring science-based programs to Museum visitors that help children learn about the fascinating world of insects.
“Through our partnership with DuPage Children’s Museum, I’ve seen firsthand what an asset DuPage Children’s Museum is to the community,” said O’Hara, a father of three. “I look forward to working with the Museum and other Board members in fundraising efforts that will help support math and science programs that are so important for young minds.”
DuPage Children’s Museum’s Board and staff developed a strategic plan for 2011-2015, which will guide the Museum’s future efforts to support early learning.
“We look forward to Mark’s contributions and efforts to help the Museum implement the strategic plan and provide critical learning experiences for all children regardless of whatever physical, developmental or financial barriers they face,” said Ron Dietz, chairman of the DCM Board of Directors.
