Book promotion will benefit American Legion Post 43

-

George Banas, a member of the Naperville American Legion Post 43, recently wrote and published “Terroists and the Terchova Treasure.”   During booksignings and other appearances as he travels across the nation to sell his book, Banas has been donating $1.00 per book sold to American Legion Post 43.

According to Wayne Fischer, spokesman for the American Legion, Post 43 is very active promoting youth, veterans, active duty and Americanism programs.

“We appreciate all of his efforts both as a member and an author to further the American Legion,” said Fischer, as he noted two upcoming booksignings.

From 4-8PM on Sat., July 28, a booksigning is planned at the Texas Roadhouse – Naperville at the corner of Rt. 59 and North Aurora Road (2856 Patriot Lane).

Also, from 5-8PM on Sat., Aug. 11, Country House – Lisle, located at 6460 College Road (in the corner of the shopping mall just south of Benedictine University) another booksigning is scheduled.

The public is welcome and encouraged to attend these signings to support Banas’ efforts.

While dining at either location, organizers would much appreciate your letting the folks at these restaurants know that you are a Member and Friend of American Legion Post 43, noted Fischer.   “It all helps our cause,” he added.

An ombudsman is Scandinavian in origin dating back to Viking times; and refers to a community representative; usually acting independently on behalf of an organization, body of elected officials, or civic group. Thanks Scandinavia for inventing ombudsman.
