The Redesign Agency, a start-up marketing and design company started by two Naperville Central Alumni, is making innovative marketing and design packages more affordable for small local businesses.
“We believe every business should have access to top level design and strategic marketing,” said agency Co-Founder and Creative Director Adam Carney. “Design is more important than ever, and we’re helping businesses make it a priority.” The company is a hybrid between a design agency and a tech start-up.
The young company offers several packages, including websites, mobile applications, branding, and a package specifically for small business. They offer strategic payment options allowing businesses to contract services for a standard monthly fee. “Small businesses can’t afford the large up-front payments required from a traditional agency. This makes it much easier on small businesses to make necessary investments in their marketing,” said Co-Founder Joe Thomas. They want to help local entrepreneurs communicate their visions to the world.
Carney, 21, and Thomas, 22, founded The Redesign Agency in 2011 after they recognized small businesses everywhere struggle to find marketing from a source they can trust. “Marketing has to be made with a strategic plan in order for it to work. It’s so hard for small businesses to find this without paying tens of thousands of dollars,” said Carney. The company openly lists their prices for clients on their website. “We want businesses to think of it like hiring a new, temporary employee who’s going to manage their marketing,” said Carney.
