Naper Settlement to offer behind-the-scenes tours

Get a VIP Access Pass for a behind-the-scenes look at Naper Settlement throughout the summer. A new tour is available at 1:30PM  on Tuesdays and Thursdays to give visitors a more intimate view of the behind-the-scenes operations of the museum, focusing on the heart of the museum’s mission: a look at why artifacts from the past are collected and preserved.

The tour will include different stops throughout the museum campus, such as the Research Library and Archives, the curatorial workshop, and Century Memorial Chapel’s unique “door in the floor.” Led by Naper Settlement education staff, these specialty tours are designed to last about 45 to 60 minutes.

This behind-the-scenes tour is a $5 addition to the regular admission price of $12 adults, $10 seniors and $8 youth 4-12. Naperville Heritage Society members are free. The tour is also available for groups with advance reservations. For more information, call Naper Settlement at (630) 420-6010 or visit www.napersettlement.museum.
