Naperville firefighter/country musician to perform in the Park District’s concert series

Billy Croft and The 5-Alarm will perform a free concert this Sun., July 8,  from 7 to 8:30PM at Seager Park at 1163 Plank Rd.

Croft, a Naperville firefighter since 1995, combines his commitment to public service and love of music. His band will present favorites from the Eagles, Kenny Chesney, Elvis Presley, the Beatles, Aerosmith and music flavored with their own “red hot smokin” country rock sound.

Concerts in Your Park is the Naperville Park District’s free summer music series for families and neighborhoods. Everyone is welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets for a Sunday evening of musical entertainment. The July 8 concert is the third of six concerts, each presented in a different park.

Please note:  Recent initial tests of mosquito traps at Seager Park have returned one instance of West Nile Virus as reported by the City of Naperville. Positive, reportable results are defined as two instances in one location. However, the Naperville Park District feels that it is necessary to inform people of these findings so that they can take the necessary precautions. Seager Park was sprayed by the City of Naperville on July 5 and 6 to protect public health at this location. For more information about preventative measures against mosquitoes, visit http://www.naperville.il.us/mosquitocontrol.aspx.
