Rotary Ride is a well-supported recreational ride for beginners and veteran riders with 21-, 41-, and 62- (metric century) mile routes. All routes are SAG supported, and rest stops are fully staffed with nutritious food and drinks. Riders depart no later than noon. Ride start time is 6:30AM. Rest stops and SAG support will end at 3PM.  A brunch buffet will be served from 10AM to 2PM.

This year, Rotary Ride will benefit Turning Pointe Autism Foundation and Rotary International charities. The ride is held in honor of Carmen DiGiovine, a charter member of the Naperville Sunrise Rotary Club and avid bicyclist who also was one of the idea-people behind Rotary Ride. DiGiovine lost his courageous battle with cancer in 2007.

Rotary International is an organization of business and professional leaders united worldwide, who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.

Rotary Club of Naperville South, chartered in 2009, meets Tuesday mornings at 7AM at Springbrook Golf Course, 2220 W. 83rd St.  Anyone is welcome to attend. For information, visit http://rcnsouth.clubexpress.com.
