The Near Beer Band will perform from 3:30-4:30PM, Sat., June 30 at the Exchange Club of Naperville 2012 Ribfest on the Show Wagon Stage. The five-day family-friendly Ribfest runs June 29 to July 3 in Knoch Park in Naperville.
According to band member David “SkiBall” Szablewski who plays keyboards Roland Fr7- and accordion, their lively performance will be staged where the “Ribbers” are located.
“We have been together almost 40 years and still playing music. Our genre is Country Rock, Rockabilly, Cajun and Old time Rock and Roll,” said Szablewski.
The band seeks to play for other events. Note they also will be performing at Naper Settlement during “Oktobestfest” on Oct 6. Stay turned.
