Tex Mex & Music Fest coming to CityGate Centre this July

The inaugural Tex Mex & Music Fest will be held July 13 and 14 at CityGate Centre in Naperville with live music and food served by some of Chicagoland’s best TexMex restaurants.

Live music from top country-fusion bands will set the beat for this vibrant event, including headliner, Chris Isaak. Other musical acts include Asleep at the Wheel, Carlos Ortega, Wil Gravatt Band and The Country Sky Band.

Rick Bayless, chef-owner of Frontera Grill, will conduct a cooking demonstration and answer questions about his food travels and recipes. Attendees can also visit a beer garden or pair food items with a variety of wines.

The Fest runs 4 to 10PM on Fri., July 13 and 3 to 10 PM on Sat., July 14.

General admission ticket pricing is $30 in advance on Friday, $40 at the door. Saturday’s pricing is $20 in advance, $30 at the door. Reserved seating, two-day passes and discounted kids tickets are also available. All tickets are rain or shine and include musical entertainment, food demonstrations and access to the family activity center. A portion of ticket sales will be donated to DuPage PADS, an organization that works to end homelessness.
