Summer Place Theater opens season with ‘Your a Good Man Charlie Brown’

“You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown” opened Fri., June 15, and “it is fantastic,” said Summer Place Theater producer Lynn Hodak.

“It is the original charmer from 1967 based on the characters of Charles Shultz,” Hodak noted. ” The cast is wonderful, the set adorable and you will laugh and laugh! It is perfect for children and adults of all ages!”

Performances continue at 8PM Sat., June 16; and 3PM Sun., June 17 or next weekend, June 22, 23, 24.

Show times next weekend are at 8PM on Friday and Saturday and 3PM Sunday afternoon.

“We’re back to our roots at the Auditorium at Naperville Central High School at Aurora Ave. and West St.,” added Hodak.

The cast includes Charlie Brown played by Jason Czajka; Lucy,Amanda Walsh; Snoopy, Kristi Wright; Schroeder, Brian Kulaga; Linus, Ryan Breig; and Patty, Shelley Nixon.

The director/choreographer is Matt Whale with music direction by Justin Trizenberg.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for students & seniors, and $12 for children age 5-12. Season tickets are available at reduced prices, and group discounts are also available.
