Learn about old Naperville, new Naperville and meet Pulitzer Prize winning cartoonist Dick Locher after a historic trolley tour this summer.
Dick Locher will be at the Naperville Township Century Walk Gallery, located at 139 Water St. in downtown Naperville, on select dates throughout the summer after trolley tours. Locher will discuss his artwork showcased in the Naperville Township Century Walk Gallery which features Dick Tracey. He will also be describing the methods he used to design and produce the bronze 9′ tall Dick Tracy statue which is also located on the Naperville Township grounds along the Riverwalk.
Naperville Trolley & Tours offer one-hour historic tours of Naperville. Tours include Naperville’s Historic District, North Central College, charming downtown businesses and shopping areas, police and fire stations, Riverwalk, Naper Settlement, and Centennial Beach.
Tours are every Friday at 11AM during June, July and August. Locher will be appearing at the Century Walk Gallery after tours on June 8 and 15. All tours are one hour and begin and end at the southeast corner of Jackson Ave. at Eagle St. Arrive at 10:50AM.
