Stedman Graham will be joined by a number of luminaries in the world of business, entertainment and sports to celebrate Athletes Against Drugs’ (AAD) 27th Anniversary celebration weekend, June 3 and 4 at Hotel Arista and White Eagle Golf Club in Naperville.
Confirmed guests include Smokey Robinson, Penny Hardaway, Mark Henry, Charles Oakley, Desmond Clark, Maurice Allen, Tobias Harris and Roland Martin.
The celebrity weekend will mark 27 years of AAD, founded by Stedman Graham, supporting youth in Chicago and across the United States. Sunday’s Dinner Gala will feature a cocktail reception, meet and greet at 6:30PM, then live auction and entertainment from X Factor contestant Elaine Gibbs, violinist Lee England, saxophonist Mike Philips, comedian Maz Jobrani, Art Beat artist Elliot and DJ Steve “Silk” Hurley.
AAD’s Celebrity Golf Challenge on Monday, now in its 18th year, will begin with 8:30AM registration and Shotgun start from 9:30AM, and will include a youth golf clinic followed by a tournament awards dinner at 3PM.
AAD programs have impacted the lives of thousands of youth across the country, with programs that include education, health and wellness, sports camps and events with keynote speakers and athletes. AAD’s aims to improve the lives of youth throughout Chicago and other major cities by instructing them on how to build healthy bodies, strong minds and to live a drug-free life.
