The final two performances of the Family Concert Series at Grace United Methodist Church are scheduled in June.
At 2PM on Sunday, June 3, Grace hosts a performance by master violinist Bill Murk, who will play sacred, contemporary and hymn arrangements in an inspiring afternoon concert that also features his daughter, Heather, an award-winning contemporary Christian singer. In its final program of the season, the Family Concert Series welcomes back the critically acclaimed chamber phenom Fifth House Ensemble (www.fifth-house.com), presenting “Black Violet: Act One” at 7:30PM on Saturday, June 23. The musical, multi-media journey travels through 17th century London, when Lord Mayor has declared black cats the cause of the Plague that is decimating the populace, and Violet, a black housecat, finds herself on the streets for the first time in her life.
Tickets to each performance are $18 adults/$13 seniors 65+/$7.50 students, available at www.peopleofgrace.org/concerts or in the church office.
