Up and coming LA star back in town and ready to teach

The community will have an opportunity to learn from a Los Angeles Up and Coming actor how to become a success in the entertainment business and how to perform in front of the camera.  He will be teaching a seminar for youth and their parents, “Get Yourself in the Door,” on May 21  and an Acting/Audition for the Camera Master class for young adults 17-up  on May 23 and June 8.

After graduating from Montini High School in 2006, Kevin Michael Martin started his acting education. He graduated from UCLA in 2010 with training at Second City Improv school.  He hit the pavement focused and ready to take on the LA entertainment business and quickly found success.  He entered the commercial circuit immediately and his engaging personality, passion, and his unique, red headed features scored him immediate success, including landing commercials for Dominos Pizza, Shelter Insurance, George Lopez “Tonight”, as well as a spot for the NAVY and Digiornos Delivery which are both currently on the air.

Recently, Kevin wrapped a FOX pilot as a lead role for creator Bill Lawrence (“Scrubs”, “Cougar Town”) and is awaiting word from Warner Brothers to see if it will be picked up.  This last year, Kevin also made guest appearances on shows including “NCIS,” “Franklin and Bash” and “Desperate Housewives, ” as well as a television movie called “Wild Card” which will air this summer on the USA network. Kevin is represented by one of the top ten best theatrical agencies in Los Angeles.

Two sessions of “Getting Your Foot in the Door,” at 7PM and 9PM will be held on May 21.  Parents and their youth of all ages are encouraged to attend. Cost:  $50 a person/$40 for Kidz Kabaret members.  Group fees are available.

Acting/Auditioning for The On Camera Class will be held from 630PM – 9PM on May 23 and June 8. $75 a person and $50/for Kidz Kabaret Members.  Participants will be filmed!
