DUPAGE VETERANS FOUNDATION HONORS WORLD WAR II VETERANS! / 11AM-4PM, Sat., May 5 / Lunch with World War II Veterans, followed by a showcase of music of the era as well as an exhibit of  WWII planes and vehicles i n the Calamos hangar at the DuPage Airport in West Chicago. $30 in advance. $40 at the gate. $20 children under 12. INAUGURAL 5K Walk FOR SCAD RESEARCH/Sat., May 5 / Held at Springbrook Prairie Forest Preserve in Naperville.  The walk has become the cornerstone for a SCAD Survivors Reunion that will be held here in Naperville.  Several local SCAD survivors and SCAD survivors from across the country; Dr. Hayes and Dr. Sweet, researchers at Mayo Clinic; as well as Katherine Leon,  2012 Women’s Day Magazine Red Dress Award recipient will all be participating in the walk and reunion. FOURTH ANNUAL ACCESS 10K & 5k PRESENTED BY YOUNG LIFE  9:30AM Sat.,  May 5, 2012.  / This event will feature a 10k & 5k Run/Walk  at the Danada Forest Preserve in Wheaton. Crushed limestone course for runners of all abilities.  Downloadable race day photos will also be available after the race. The fundraiser helps send teens with special needs to Young Life camp and supports the bi-weekly meetings and activities of Young Life Access in Naperville.  $ 35.00 until  race day / $ 40.00 Race day registration / Packet Pickup at Road Runner Sports on May 2 & 3 from 4-8.  Enjoy 10% off all items when you pick up your packet. “FLIGHT OF A SONG” PRESENTED BY THE NAPERVILLE MEN’S GLEE CLUB / 3PM Sun., May 6 / The Naperville Men’s Glee Club + Ensembles and Soloists of the Glee Club will perform at the Wentz Concert Hall.
