The student-contestants each prepared a 3-5 minute speech about the United States Constitution and had all advanced to the county-wide competition by winning their local Post’s competition.

All contestants were presented with a certificate for their participation and the top four contestants received cash prizes. Congratulations to all the winners.

An ombudsman is Scandinavian in origin dating back to Viking times; and refers to a community representative; usually acting independently on behalf of an organization, body of elected officials, or civic group. Thanks Scandinavia for inventing ombudsman.
