Hey, Gardeners! West Street Garden Plots Will Open a Week Early

Naperville Park District Community Garden Plots will open Sat., April 14

Gardeners with reserved garden plots at the Naperville Park District Community Garden Plots for 2012 may begin gardening this Sat., April 14, one week earlier than scheduled. Thanks to the warmer, dry weather, NPD crews have been able to prepare plots earlier than normal.

Remember. Every plot is numbered and most have been reserved.

Gardeners may call the Park District at ( 630) 848-5000 if they wish to confirm their number.

A few plots still remain available to be reserved for this year’s growing season. PN’s experience has been that a garden abundant in vegetables, herbs and flowers is a wonderful way for families to grow together.

New gardeners must register in person at the Park District Administration Building at 320 W. Jackson Ave.

The Community Garden Plots are located at 811 S. West St., across the street from the Knoch Park.
