Calling all graduating seniors—apply for NJWC Scholarship

The Naperville Junior Woman’s Club (NJWC) currently is accepting applications for its 2012 scholarships. The Club will be awarding $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors from the Naperville area (applicants must reside in School District 203 or 204). Scholarships will be awarded based on financial need, community service, school involvement, and scholastic achievement.

The application can be downloaded from www.napervillejuniors.org; and mailed to NJWC Scholarship Committee, 5032 Switch Grass Lane, Naperville, IL 60564 (Adobe Acrobat reader is required to view the application). Applications must be received by April 15, 2012.

In early May, each scholarship candidate will be notified by email or phone of the committee’s decision. Scholarships will be presented at the May NJWC General Meeting. To download the application, or to get more information, please visit the NJWC Club Website, www.napervillejuniors.org.

The Naperville Junior Woman’s Club is always looking for energetic, enthusiastic women to join. Each year its members give thousands of hours of service to the community and thousands of dollars to various charitable organizations, including Safety Town.  Visit www.napervillejuniors.org or call 630-575-9567.
