-

A new place in Wheaton!

The Art Spot is a performing arts school located at 1203 Butterfield Rd. at the  Bradford intersection in Wheaton.  They offer classes in acting, musical theatre, dancing, design, directing, and music.  Most of their classes are 5 weeks in length and their summer session is being scheduled now.

They also produce plays and musicals four times a year.

The Art Spot works with youth through adults and they have specific age groups for different classes.  They also hold monthly concerts for local bands and they offer headshots and demo assistance and they work on website designs.

Their staff have degrees in their field of study and have won numerous awards and have worked throughout Chicagoland.  Artistic Director Billy Surges is an up and coming actor and director who wanted to put his theatrical skills to work in the community.

Their maiden show is, Peter Pan and Wendy, which opens April 27 and runs through May 6th.  For more information:  www.theartspotwheaton.tk
