You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown. Summer Place Theatre. May 1 and May 2 with callbacks May 3.  7pm – 10pm.  Auditions at the Alfred E Ruben Community Center – 305 W. Jackson at the Corner of Eagle and Jackson – Naperville, IL.  Prepare 32 bars of a song that shows your voice and have another song ready if asked.  Looking to cast 18 and up, but will audition all ages above 16.  Performances will be held at the Auditorium at Naperville Central High School June 15, 16, 17; 22, 23, 24. North Central College Summer Program Auditions for Wizard of Oz, Princess Ida and South Pacific as follows:  Those who just want to be in the chorus, do not need to audition – just register for a $150 fee.  Those interested in a role need to audition.  Dance Auditions for Wizard of Oz only May 4 at 6PM at Heininger Auditorium in the Larrance Academic Center.  There is no dance a udition for South Pacific.  Vocal Auditions for both the Wizard of Oz and South Pacific:  May 5th from 10AM  – 4PM.  Prepare 16 bars of one song, having a second song ready if needed.  Call backs May 6th.  Wizard of Oz is directed by Suzy Olsen and South Pacific is directed by Brian Lynch. Greased Lighting for the School of Performing Arts Spectrum ProgramCelebrating the magic of the 50’s with dancing scenes and songs from the hit musical Grease geared towards children with disabilities.  The use of music, dance, and imagery through art allows the student an alternate path for self-exploration and art.  Saturdays, January 14th – May 5th; 9:30 – 11:00 am; Performance: Sunday, May 6th.  INFO: (630) 717-6622

 

Pinkalicious the Musical.  The School of Performing Arts for students Ages  6- Grade 5.  A delight for children to perform, Pinkalicious, the musical is one of the most- loved stories in America!  In this fantastical, magical, musical extravaganza, favorite characters from the storybook and more come alive onstage!  Saturdays 11:15am – 1:15pm; Rehearsals begin February 11; Dress Rehearsal Friday May 18; Final Performances Saturday (morning/early afternoon) May 19, 2012.  INFO: 630-717-6622
