FYI: THE EASTER BUNNY! The first documented use of the “Bunny” as a symbol of “Easter” occurred in the late 1500’s in Germany. Pagan traditions associate the hare or rabbit with the time of renewal at Easter. The Pennsylvania Dutch brought the legend to America in the 1700s and ever since, many of us have searched for colored Easter eggs and Easter baskets chock full of chocolate bunnies and jelly beans delivered by a big rabbit.
