How do I promote my event or business in your daily email newsletter?

Print advertising doesn’t work for me. I just want to advertise digitally?

This can be arranged. PN has a $500 minimum for digital only advertising. Email ideas@positivelynaperville.com for availability and current pricing.

I don’t have a high resolution ad, how do I get one designed?

PN offers ad design for $75 per ad. This charge is often waived for large ad buys.  Please do not send PN ads designed in Microsoft Word, Publisher or PowerPoint. These types of files do not translate well in production printing.

What is your print circulation?

25,000 copies. 15,000 are delivered door-to-door and 10,000 are distributed at over 100 locations throughout the greater Naperville community.

What American writers and journalists have inspired PN?

H. L. Mencken (The Sage of Baltimore), Ernest Hemingway, Hunter S. Thompson, P. J. O’Rourke, Henry David Thoreau, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Benjamin Franklin and Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens).

Do you offer classified ads or publish legal notices?

No.

Who advertises with Positively Naperville?

Advertisers and sponsors range from local independent businesses to community/service groups and many nonprofits. 

Do you have special rates for charity events and fundraisers?

Yes, all non-profits and community groups in good standing are eligible for a 40 percent discount off list rates. Depending on availability and the event, PN may discount the ad further. This is also perfect for thank you ads. Contact us for pricing and availability.

Do you offer in-kind advertising for events, galas and fundraisers?

Yes, but most of our in-kind advertising space is reserved for 2020 and almost full for 2021. We get dozens of requests every month. If you are a current sponsor and have a pop-up event, you probably already know how to feng shui PN’s community filters and get in touch. Our logo and branding is already embedded within the Naperville community. Frankly, we don’t care about having our banners at events, logo on websites or ads in event programs. Don’t hassle us, we’re local!

Do you consider trade-outs?

Absolutely. But we still have to cover our printing and production costs. Contact us for what you might have in mind.

Do you accept inserts?

No, The logistics make our heads hurt.

Will you promote my event in print?

Maybe, we welcome advertising. Requests must be submitted by the 15th for the upcoming month for consideration. Events can be published online anytime by clicking HERE. Submissions can sometimes take two business days to be published.

Does my print ad need bleeds?

No.

How many digital impressions do you get?

That information is proprietary, but to put it into perspective, the Chicago Tribune media network can generate more traffic in one day than PN can in one year. We are hyper-local and our readership is extremely loyal.
