Visit Art & Frame/Naperville at a new location!

Art & Frame/Naperville is now located at 702 W. Fifth Ave., west of Mill St.Suite 2,. behind NNHS and just across the street from all the yellow school buses.  Picture their new location with plenty of doorside parking!

Art & Frame / Naperville has had an active history for nearly 35 years, moving from one location to another, always growing to meet the needs of its customers.
Formerly Steinbock's Art and Frame Shoppe, Jeanne Johnson purchased the custom framing shop seven years ago from Marty Thomas.

"We've enjoyed many wonderful experiences and have worked hard to maintain the quality and reputation established by the late Ken Steinbock and his wife, Edna Steinbock, throughout their 27 years of as they established and built their business," said Johnson.  "We've always been proud to own a business in this great community.  But times change and as our business has grown, we need more space."

Looking back, Johnson said the year 2000 provided a time to look forward and accept change with fresh ideas, so she and her daughters, Chris Latham and Amy Smith, decided to rename the store to give its own identity.

The custom framer offers a variety of quality "ready to go" photo frames in addition to a bountiful inventory including a selection of antique European watercolor botanicals as well as fine engravings, limited edition prints and Naperville images.

"We feature many Riverwalk artists," said Johnson who regularly supports the seasonal events hosted by the Riverwalk Foundation, where her husband Larry is a director.

Art & Frame / Naperville offers to do custom searches to find fine art not in their inventory --- the virtual gallery and catalog selections have expanded available services.

"We're happy to do large and small custom orders --- needlework, mirrors, antiques, photographs, posters, t-shirts, collectibles," said Latham who manages the store.

Art & Frame / Naperville is associated with the Chicago Conservation Center in order to restore antique paintings and vintage photographs.  Latham, a Certified Picture Framer (CPF) coordinates projects with the center in Chicago, providing local customers with highly professional services to maintain the quality and authenticity of valuable art.

"We are still family-owned, family-operated and we're always learning new things---especially from our customers who bring us their treasures to frame. We continue to strive to take care of all your custom framing needs with the same exceptional service you've come to expect for nearly 35 years," said Johnson.
