Wanted – Summer Girls Softball Umpires The Naperville Park District is recruiting new softball umpires for the Summer 2008 season. Share your enthusiasm for the with youth players from 4th grade through high school and positively influence the youth of our community in an instructive manner. The summer season will run approximately from June 1-August 1. The Park District will provide all the training, equipment and support you need. Pay rates are based on experience. We are hiring both youth (age 14+ as of May 17, 2008) and adult umpires. These positions offer excellent part-time employment opportunities for college students, adults and retirees. Our progress has already been amazing! This is a full time program run all day, 7 days per week so we are looking for people to fill all times of the day, night and weekends. You chose the times that best suits your schedule. A bi-monthly evening meeting is required to discuss progress and develop new goals. It’s all a lot of fun.
