Naperville VFW ‘All You Can Eat’ Fish Fry – 4:30 – 7:30PM | $12, seniors $10 and children $7; 3 and under are free

The Naperville VFW “All You Can Eat” Fish Fry is open to the public every Friday from 4:30 to 7:30PM now through March 30 at the Judd Kendall VFW, 908 W. Jackson St., Naperville. The buffet menu varies, but attendees can expect eight hot items, including two kinds of fish, chicken, salad and vegetables, plus rolls, desert and coffee, all of which are included in the dinner price. The buffet is provided by Belgio’s Catering. A full menu is available at www.napervfw3873.org. A full bar is also available. Clash of the Sequins 2018 – All Day | $15

In just its third year, Naperville North High School’s Clash of the Sequins has become a nationally renowned rock-concert-like event attracting top show choirs from around the country. Clash of the Sequins is perfect family entertainment for everyone young and old, with all-day tickets costing just $15. In addition to the 20 competing teams, Naperville North High Schools nationally ranked Entourage and High Heeled Harmony will perform, accompanied by the award winning Hot Brockets combo band.

More Than 1 Million Meals To Be Packed In 36 Hours – 9AM | Free

More than 6,000 volunteers will pack more than 1 million life-saving meals in just 36 hours at the Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) Feed The Need! MobilePack event held February 17-18 at North Central College in Naperville. Nutritious FMSC meals are distributed by missions and humanitarian organizations to assist in reversing and preventing undernutrition in children around the world. Hosted by North Central College, the annual MobilePack is a coalition of DuPage, Will and Kane area churches, civic organizations, local businesses, schools, community groups and individuals that organize and fund the event. Volunteers have packed a total of 4 million meals since it began in 2011. Volunteers are asked to bring non-perishable food to help restock the Loaves & Fishes Food pantry [loaves-fishes.org] and Northern Illinois Food Bank [solvehungertoday.org]. Collection bins will be available at event on-site registration. Gerald KIA of Naperville, the events premier partner, has donated a 2018 KIA Niro LX for a raffle on Feb 18. Were seeking more churches, businesses and civic groups to participate with volunteers and funding so that we can reach our meal production goals to feed starving kids and families, says Bob Huebner, co-founder of Feed the Need! North Central College presents the Berlin Philharmonic Piano Quartet on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Wentz Concert Hall in the Fine Arts Center. The Berlin Philharmonic Piano Quartet, one of the few existing ensembles of that instrumentation, has existed as a Berlin Philharmonic Chamber music ensemble since 1985. Naperville Municipal Band Winter Concert – 3PM | Free

The Naperville Municipal Band will perform its winter concert at Plainfield East High School. The concert will include a joint performance with the Plainfield East High School Band. (Reminder! Drop off begins at 8:30 AM. $45/camper/day. Test your skills at Naper Games, Naper Settlement’s first ever Winter Olympics showdown. Create your own national costume and Olympic torch while learning about the history of the Olympics. Discover PyeongChang, South Korea where athletes from around the world are contending for the gold medal. Keep Moving to help keep local charities running! Register now for the first running event of the season at PN’s Runs, Walks and Bike Rides that will keep you outdoors for more than a good cause beginning on March 10, 2018, when the Rotary Club of Naperville Sunrise presents its annual St. Paddy’s 5K just before the WSI St. Patrick’s Parade in downtown Naperville. Registration to participate in both events is now in progress.

Weekends, Music & More!

Start with breakfast from 10AM to Noon at Quigley’s Irish Pub on Saturdays and Sundays.  And stay for the live band beginning at 8:30PM. Brunch is served throughout downtown Naperville, too.

Celebrate with the West Suburban Irish and friends during a “session” of traditional Irish tunes at Quigley’s on the third Wednesday of the month.

And on that note, thanks for supporting live music such as the sounds of sessions (the third Wednesday of the month) and bands at Quigley’s Irish Pub (Fridays & Saturdays) or local bands at Club Mamalu’s on the first Friday of the month with OMT lite and friends. No cover.
