Naperville VFW ‘All You Can Eat’ Fish Fry – 4:30 – 7:30PM | $12, seniors $10 and children $7; 3 and under are free

The Naperville VFW “All You Can Eat” Fish Fry is open to the public every Friday from 4:30 to 7:30PM February 9 through March 30 at the Judd Kendall VFW, 908 W. Jackson St., Naperville. The buffet menu varies, but attendees can expect eight hot items, including two kinds of fish, chicken, salad and vegetables, plus rolls, desert and coffee, all of which are included in the dinner price. The buffet is provided by Belgio’s Catering. A full menu is available at www.napervfw3873.org. A full bar is also available. The Summit, hosted by the Rotary Club of Naperville International Service Committee, brings together exhibitors, organizations and businesses supporting international service projects. International foreign correspondent Atia Abawi will speak about her recently released book, “A Land of Permanent Goodbyes.” There will be a discussion panel moderated by WBEZ’s Worldview host Jerome McDonnell on how to improve the effectiveness and sustainability of global projects. 3rd Annual Chocolate Walk – noon | $30

In partnership with the Downtown Naperville Alliance and benefiting 360 Youth Services, the 3rd Annual Chocolate Walk is sure to satisfy any sweet tooth. The Chocolate Walk will be held on Saturday, February 10 from noon 5PM. Attendees will receive a commemorative souvenir Chocolate Tin along with a map touring many Downtown Naperville shops and restaurants where you’ll experience chocolate tasty treats and chocolate surprises. North Central College’s 22nd Annual International Festival – noon | $5-$7

North Central College’s Center for Global Education hosts this annual event for nearly 1,000 children and their families with the goal of developing more knowledge and appreciation of the variety of cultures represented in the Naperville area. Ticket holders receive a passport to be stamped in over 20 educational booths. Festival participants also enjoy continuous dance performances from around the world, international foods, and a series of half-hour cultural immersion booths conducted in a variety of languages. All proceeds go to fund scholarships at North Central College for both study abroad students and incoming international students. $5 advanced ticket sales are available at Abe House, 48 East Jefferson. $7 tickets can be purchased at the door. Keep Moving to help keep local charities running! Register now for the first running event of the season at PN’s Runs, Walks and Bike Rides that will keep you outdoors for more than a good cause beginning on March 10, 2018, when the Rotary Club of Naperville Sunrise presents its annual St. Paddy’s 5K just before the WSI St. Patrick’s Parade in downtown Naperville. Registration to participate in both events is now in progress.

Start with breakfast from 10AM to Noon at Quigley’s Irish Pub on Saturdays and Sundays.  And stay for the live band beginning at 8:30PM. Brunch is served throughout downtown Naperville, too.

Celebrate with the West Suburban Irish and friends during a “session” of traditional Irish tunes at Quigley’s on the third Wednesday of the month.
