Dec. 2-3, Music: The Naperville Chorus will present two performances of “A Swingin’ Christmas” at 7:30PM Saturday, Dec. 2, and at 2PM Sunday, Dec. 3, in NCC’s Wentz Concert Hall at the Fine Arts Center, 171 E. Dec. 6, NapervilleREADS: NCC will host the annual NapervilleREADS program at 7PM Wednesday, Dec. 6, in Wentz Concert Hall, 171 E. Dec. 7-10, Theatre: Chicago’s Organic Theater Company returns to NCC to stage five performances of “Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol” at 7:30PM Dec. 7-9 and at 2PM Dec. 9-10 in the College’s theatre at Meiley-Swallow Hall, 31 S. Ellsworth St. This heartwarming comedy explores how Ebeneezer Scrooge’s late business partner Jacob Marley discovers his own heart before helping Scrooge find his. Tickets are $30 and $20.
Dec. 8, Music: NCC presents its 5th annual Jazz Faculty Christmas Concert at 8PM Friday, Dec. 8, in Wentz Concert Hall, 171 E. Chicago Ave. This popular concert will feature a collection of well-known holiday favorites with a jazz twist performed by North Central’s acclaimed jazz faculty, including vocalist Janice Borla, Mitch Paliga on saxophone, Art Davis on trumpet, Tim Coffman on trombone, Brad Stirtz on vibraphone, Chris White on piano, Kelly Sill on bass and Jack Mouse on drums. Dec. 8-10, Ballet: Naperville’s DanceWest Ballet Company will stage four performances of “The Nutcracker” at 7PM Dec. 8, at 1 and 5PM Dec. 9, and at 1PM Dec. 10. Presented in its entirety, this production will be held in NCC’s Pfeiffer Hall, 310 E. Benton Ave. Tickets are $33/person.
Dec. 9, Music: NCC presents Grammy-nominated pop pianist Jim Brickman in “A Joyful Christmas” performance at 8PM Saturday, Dec. 9, in the College’s Wentz Concert Hall, 171 E. Chicago Ave. This holiday concert will feature both classic and original songs that celebrate the season of faith, love and togetherness. Tickets are $45 and $35.
Dec. 10, Music: The DuPage Symphony Orchestra presents two matinee performances of its family concert “Yuletide Joy” at 2 and 4PM Sunday, Dec. 10, in NCC’s Wentz Concert Hall, 171 E. Chicago Ave. Tickets range from $18 to $8.
Dec. 15, Music: NCC presents Canadian super group The Tenors in a holiday concert at 8PM Friday, Dec. 15, in the College’s Pfeiffer Hall, 310 E. Benton Ave. This award-winning and multiplatinum band blends classical music and contemporary pop. The Tenors have performed for the last four U.S. presidents and the Queen of England for her 90th birthday party, and in nearly 1,000 shows on five continents. Tickets are $85, $75 and $65.

Dec. 16, Children’s theatre: NCC will host two performances by Hot Peas ‘N Butter for its show, “Holidays From Around the World,” at 10AM and 1PM Saturday, Dec. 16, in the College’s Pfeiffer Hall, 310 E.
