Little Friends annual golf outing wraps up local charity golf season

NAPERVILLE, ILLINOIS  –  October 16, 2017 – Little Friends held its 15th Annual Golf Classic on October 4, 2017,  at Seven Bridges Golf Club with nearly 150 guests. The afternoon event consisted of a nine-hole scramble, hospitality stations, contests, raffles and a live auction.

In total, Little Friends raised more than $77,000 to support their mission to empower children and adults with special challenges to live, learn, work, and participate in their community. This year was one of the most successful in the event’s fifteen-year history, organizers said.

“We are thrilled with the success of the golf outing,” said Mike Briggs, President & CEO. “It is humbling to know that year after year the friendship and advocacy for Little Friends only continue to grow. We couldn’t be more appreciative of the support or happier with the record amount of money that was raised to help our clients.”
