Above / After recent approval by Naperville City Council, Ryan Companies is prepared to host meetings that kick-off the community engagement phase for the 5th Avenue Project.
NAPERVILLE, Ill. — The first of numerous community engagement opportunities regarding the 5th Avenue Project will take place October 16 and 17 with two public meetings at the Naperville Municipal Center. All are encouraged to attend these meetings, hosted by Ryan Companies, to learn more about the community engagement process moving forward and how they can participate.
6-8PM Mon., Oct. 16
The first public meeting will take place on Monday, October 16 from 6 to 8PM in the Lower Level Meeting Rooms of the Naperville Municipal Center, 400 S. Eagle St.
7:30-9:30AM Tues., Oct. 17
The second will occur from 7:30 to 9:30AM on Tuesday, October 17, also in the Lower Level Meeting Rooms. The same topics and materials will be covered at both meetings.
Casual & interactive with information stations
Casual and interactive, the open house style meetings will feature information stations with opportunities to learn more about input options and review the 5th Avenue Project engagement plan in greater detail. The City has partnered with Ryan Companies to begin the community engagement phase of the 5th Avenue Project, which is exploring potential future uses of numerous City-owned properties along 5th Avenue near the Naperville Metra Station, a critical commuter hub and northern gateway to Naperville’s downtown. Multiple future input opportunities will be provided throughout the 5th Avenue Project.
Input welcomed from all residents
For those who cannot attend the meetings in-person, Ryan Companies has set up an email and phone line to facilitate input. Please contact Ryan Companies via email at 5thavedev@ryancompanies.com or by phone at (630) 328-1150 if you wish to provide input.
Project information will continue to be updated on the City’s website at www.naperville.il.us/5thavenue and shared on social media on the Facebook Page Naperville 5th Avenue Facts.
