DuPage County—Every journey begins with the first step. You’re invited to join forces with NAMI DuPage and JUST DuPage for the 28th Annual “Run for the Mind” 5K Run/Walk at 8AM on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017, at the DuPage County Health Department’s Community Center, located at 115 N. County Farm Rd. in Wheaton.
Registration is $30 through Friday, Sept. 22 ($35 on race day) and participants will receive a T-shirt and sports pack.
The funds raised from the “Run for the Mind” 5K Run/Walk will support the NAMI DuPage hope and recovery support programs to individuals, their families and caregivers who live with the effects of illness.
Longtime event will inaugurate a new course that starts and ends at NAMI DuPage, and takes participants through Wheaton along the way.

National Alliance on Mental Illness
A county-level affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, NAMI DuPage offers support, advocacy, education, programs and services free of charge to improve the quality of life of individuals with mental illness and their families.
