Little Friends welcomes seven community leaders to board of directors

Above / Little Friends finds its first home along Wright Street in Naperville, Illinois, where many of its programs continue to be offered.

Little Friends is proud to announce the addition of seven new individuals to their Board of Directors. As of July 1, 2017 the human services agency serving children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities welcomed a diverse slate of community leaders across many professions.

“I am excited to have these talented individuals join our Board,” noted Mike Briggs, Little Friends’ President and CEO. “I appreciate their passion and commitment to help Little Friends and look forward to working with them to expand Little Friends’ reach and impact throughout the communities we serve.”

Joining the Board of Directors for a three-year term are:

  • Ushaben Chavda, Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine
  • Chris Finck, TreeHouse Foods
  • Karla Harmon, Jones Lang LaSalle
  • Eric Jones, Lewis University
  • Kevin Kobe, john greene Commercial
  • Anthony Losurdo, Gibson’s Restaurant Group
  • Mark Wright, Diverse Facility Solutions

“We welcome our new Board Members and look forward to collaborating with them as we continue to empower children, adults and families with special challenges to live, learn, work and thrive in our community,” added Dan Casey, Little Friends’ Chairman of the Board. “This diverse group joins eight seasoned board members as we support and advocate for the 800 clients and families we serve each year.”
